Woman tased in scuffle over store sign

Posted: Updated:

COLORADO SPRINGS (KRDO) -- A Colorado Springs' shop has a sign up that sent one customer into a frenzy.  The sign reads: "Sorry, we are not a daycare center.  Please control your children."  It's hanging on the front door of the British Home Shoppe on Academy Boulevard.

The message on the store's sign apparently prompted a customer to grab items in the shop and start throwing them around.  The store's owner, Richard Jones, says the woman threw items at his mother and then at him.  Jones then decided to stun the customer with a taser to get her to stop.  He is being charged with assault.  The woman, is also facing charges, though they have not been released.
