RIFLE, Colo. (KJCT) -- The Colorado State Patrol continues to investigate a crash the injured six teenagers.
The driver lost control of the car on I-70 Tuesday afternoon and it rolled over an embankment. The kids range in age from 15 to 19.
Four of them were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the car. Police say alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the crash.
The driver along with three others sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital. Two of the teens were transported to Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs.
The Colorado State Patrol wants to remind drivers and passengers to always wear a seatbelt, especially during busy holiday travel.
