GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) --Marcus and Sabrina Bebb-Jones owned the Melrose Hotel in downtown Grand Junction. It was the late 1990's, when Sabrina disappeared. Investigators from several agencies worked to bring her home.

Shortly after she went missing police say her husband, Marcus, grabbed their young son and fled to Las Vegas.

Police learned he may have stopped in Dinosaur National Park; flyers went up, hoping someone had spotted the missing woman.

At the time, KJCT News 8 spoke to her family, the Dangs were desperate for news.

Then in 2004, a skull was found near Douglas Pass. It matched. Sabrina was found, but what happened to her?

Over the last 12 years, the Grand Junction police, Garfield County and Mesa County Sheriffs offices didn't let the case go.

Now, a suspect, her husband, Marcus Bebbs-Jones will face extradition from London.

"No different than any other felony murder case.  He'll be arraigned and he'll be entitled to a jury trial," says Garfield Cunty's District Attorney, Martin Beeson.

Beeson says he's relieved to get at this point.

"My job is just beginning we got a long road to hoe.  I'm treating this as any other case. It's my job to pursue justice for these families and that's what i intend to do. And hope the result are what they should be."

He says his office has been in touch with the family.

"I'm going to respect their privacy rights and one of my jobs is to respect their privacy rights. It's been a very difficult time for them."

But it may be expensive  to get Bebb-Jones back to the U.S.

"Achieving justice for their families you can't put a price on that," says Beeson.
