GRAND JUNCTION -- Election officials have already received thousands of ballots from voters across the Western Slope, and the clock is ticking to make your vote count on Election Day on Tuesday.
The election is by mail-in ballot only, with voters choosing school board members and voting on different ballot measures depending on where they live.
So far the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder's office says turnout has been pretty light. They say only about 22 percent of ballots have been mailed in or dropped in local ballot boxes.
In Montrose county, officials say 18 percent of the 22-thousand ballots mailed out have been returned.
So far Delta county has seen the greatest returns at over 25 percent.
Mesa County Clerk and recorder Janice Rich says if you live in Mesa County, there's still time to get your vote in.
"If you have your ballot and you haven't voted and you want to participate in this election, you have no later than 7pm Tuesday night November 3rd. It's not about a postmark. It must be in our physical custody to count," Rich says.
Aside from multiple locations in the old Mesa County Courthouse, ballot drop-off locations can be found across the Grand Valley.
If you need to turn in your ballot you can head to one of the following DMV locations: The Mesa Mall, the Fruita Civic Center, the Clifton Peachtree Shopping Center, and the Orchard Mesa Fairgrounds.
Each of these locations will be open until 7pm on Election Day.
Of course on Election Day you can get all your results in one place on our website KJCT8.com.
