I-70 rollover kills 1 in Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION (KJCT) -- One person is dead after a trucks rollsover into the medium on I-70 in Grand Junction.

The accident occurred just before 8 Thursday night about a mile east of the 24 Road exit. State patrol says no other cars were involved.

It's unknown how many people were in the truck when it crashed, but State Patrol did confirm one person has died. Troopers say the truck had California plates.

Investigators were still out on the highway trying to figure out what caused the crash late Thursday night.
