GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) -- As health care reform continues to dominate debate on the Western Slope, Congressman John Salazar held a roundtable discussion with area health care providers Friday
Salazar met with physicians, officials from Rocky Mountain Health Plans and local hospitals in Grand Junction to hear their views on the health care reform bill awaiting passage in Congress.
One local doctor believes removing barriers on a national level would help lower costs, while having medical data more readily available would make the system more efficient.
The Congressman said he looks forward to learning what Grand Junction has done to be recognized as a model for health care delivery nationally.
