Your State Senators want to hear from you and on your turf. This evening Senate President Brandon Shaffer and other Democratic Senators will be at the Palisade Peach Festival.
They want to hear from you on what type of Colorado you want. Come talk about your concerns with tourism or the energy industry. They will be downtown Palisade from 6 to 7 pm Thursday.
The statewide tour began on Monday in Breckenridge and ends Novemeber 14th in the southeast corner of the state.
Overall plan for the statewide tour:
August 10-13: Northwest Tour (including Vail, Breckenridge, Steamboat, Hot Sulphur Sprints, Winter Park, Fraser, Empire, Hayden, Craig and Grand Junction)
September 22-25: Southwest Tour (including Montrose, Gunnison, Durango, Alamosa, Delta, San Luis Valley, Salida)
October 21-23: Northeast Tour (including: Sterling, Ft. Morgan, Greeley and others)
November 12-14: Southeast Tour (including: Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Lamar)
