Proceeds from the 2013 Ice Bowl Game in Palisade benefit Catholic Outreach’s Soup Kitchen, Child & Migrant to Help Feed the Hungry in the Grand Valley
The Disc Golf Club has raised over $45,000 for local non-profit since 2005. They are back at it again this year to raise money for Catholic Outreach’s Soup Kitchen, Child & Migrant Services and Agape Food Basket – all to feed the hungry. Visit www.gvdiscgolf.org

Cost: $25 with an after party and Silent Auction at Peach Tree Distillery
The Grand Valley disc Golf Club is the hub for the disc golf community on the Western Slope. All who are interest in disc golf, playing disc golf, or supporting the growth of the sport in the grand Valley is welcome to become a member of the Club for $15/year which goes toward maintaining the courses.
According to Bill Alderman, “this is an amazing way to have fun while supporting organizations that feed the hungry. We are inviting the community to come join us for a good cause!”
Agape Food Basket, located in Fruita is open on Wednesday’s from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and provides food boxes to eligible families in Fruita , Loma and Mack six times per year.
Child & Migrant Services (CMS), a non-profit that serves migrant and seasonal farm workers and their families in Mesa County, Colorado. CMS is located in the town of Palisade, a beautiful, small town nestled in the midst of beautiful orchards and vineyards.
Grand Valley Catholic Outreach provides solutions to individuals on the edge of homelessness or who are homeless. Whether it is through the Soup Kitchen, Clothing Bank, Day Center, Financial Aid or Housing programs, Catholic Outreach strives to proclaim the dignity and worth of each person and respond to human needs with the compassion of Christ.
