Dec. 31- New Year's Eve at the Ale House

The Ale House to Donate Portion of New Year’s Eve Proceeds to Hilltop’s Latimer House

The Ale House in Grand Junction will be donating a portion of their New Year’s Eve proceeds to Hilltop’s Latimer House and those affected by domestic violence. Latimer House was chosen as the beneficiary of the New Year’s event by visitors to the Ale House Facebook page. Proceeds will be raised throughout the evening from the sale of specialty martinis, a silent auction with great items donated by local businesses, and by reserving select tables.

In addition, The Ale House hopes to raise $4,000 prior to New Year’s Eve from its vendors and other community supporters. If the goal is reached, Tyrone St. John, Director of Good Drink, and Brian Oliver, General Manager, will attend the New Year’s party from 9:00 to 10:00 pm in cocktail dresses and high heels – a clever nod to Latimer House’s Men in Heels Race. Those wishing to donate prior to New Year’s should go to the Ale House Facebook Page for details.

The Ale House New Year’s Eve celebration will be held on December 31, 2012, from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am. Service will include cocktails, wine and the Ale House’s full complement of beers. There is no cover charge and complimentary hors-d’oeuvres will be served while they last. There is a dress code for the evening, with gentlemen in suits and ties or comparable, and women in cocktail dresses.
