KJCT-TV in Grand Junction, on the "Western Slope of
Colorful Colorado," has an immediate opening for a Chyron Operator. This
position is responsible for running the Chyron, a graphics generating
system, during the production of our live newscasts. This position will
also serve as video editor for news and creative services projects, using
Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and After Effects.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Technical
Training School with concentration in broadcast technology or the
equivalent is required. Candidate must pass a drug test and background
check. A valid driver's license is required.
