Bonnie Silkman, Reporter

HOMETOWN: Farmington, Maine 
EDUCATION: As a graduate from Keene State College, NH, Bonnie studied 
Broadcast Journalism and Communications. Throughout college she anchored 
and reported for KSC-TV. After visiting and falling in love with Colorado, 
she moved to Denver for year where she worked as a second shooter and 
marketing coordinator for a wedding photographer. Still wanting to start 
her career in broadcasting she happily accepted her first job in the 
industry and moved to Grand Junction. Bonnie's parents still have home 
videos of her interviewing her sisters when she was little, she's wanted 
to been a reporter since she can remember. 
INTERESTS: Bonnie loves photography and outdoor activities such as hiking, 
skiing and camping. She also grew up playing basketball, track and soccer, 
and she still loves to shoot hoops. Bonnie studied abroad in Florence, 
Italy her sophomore year of college and has had the travel bug ever since. 
She's been to Germany, Jamaica, the Netherlands, London, Spain, Ireland 
and plans on her next stop being New Zealand. Bonnie is lucky to have 
amazing and supportive parents as well as three older sisters whom she's 
very close with and looks up to. She's also excited because she's about to 
be an Aunt!
