Fruita Fall Festival comes to close

The streets of downtown Fruita were filled with thousands of people Friday, Saturday and Sunday attending the annual Fruita Fall Festival. Over 100 vendors lined downtown with artisan crafts, foods and just about everything could imagine, even carnival rides.

It's a tradition that has been around for ages, and Colorado's weather almost disrupted it. Color Sunday went ahead as planned after some events being canceled on Saturday due to some snow fall on the Grand Mesa. People of all ages came to enjoy the fall colors.

The 22-year-old female victim from the hit and run last week died from her injuries on Saturday, according to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.

Citizens of eight countries will face new restrictions on entry to the U.S. under a proclamation signed by President Donald Trump on Sunday.
